Hi, I’m Josh

My love of travel began when I started travelling the world at 18. Meeting people from different backgrounds, with different stories to tell; catching glimpses at what community means to different people around the world…
Actually— scratch that.

I’ve been travelling since I was a kid. My late father worked for VIA Rail (Canada’s cross country passenger rail) and I was fascinated by all the people
I would see and meet when I accompanied him to work. The sense of adventure felt a far cry from rural Manitoba where I was growing up and finding my feet in the world. Pair that with trips to see our extended family
in Trinidad and, well, I guess you could say travel and connection are just a part of who I am.

I’ve built my career in wedding photography for the aforementioned stories, community, and ceremony; but beyond even that, capturing moments of connection, ceremony and the stories that exist between the formal events. It doesn’t matter what your background is — we’re going to be friends when this is done.
